Selected Works

Air Purifier Ventilation Panel
U-shaped ventilated panel for home appliance air handling units. Dense perforation pattern provides optimal airflow while preventing dust and finger access.
Range Hood Housing & Chimney Cover
Range hood body and chimney cover for kitchen extraction: 0.6–1.0 mm cold-rolled or pre-painted steel, seamless front lip, grease filter seat, and a coating system that survives daily degreasing sprays without the finish dulling where the cloth rubs.
Refrigerator Door Panel & Side Panel — Pre-Coated
Refrigerator door and cabinet panels in pre-coated (VCM/PCM) steel: 0.4–0.8 mm substrate, film-protected during forming, roller-level flatness so reflections do not wave, and edge treatment that will not cut the gasket during assembly.
Washing Machine Control Panel & Top Cover
Control panel and top cover for front and top loading washers: powder-coated steel with silk-screened legends, embossed button landings, a raised lip around the detergent drawer opening, and a corrosion system rated for a decade of damp laundry rooms.
Dishwasher Inner Drum & Tank Panel
Dishwasher inner tank panels and drum sections in 304 stainless: laser-welded seams ground smooth, drain and filter apertures formed without burrs, and passivation after welding so detergent and hot water do not attack the weld zone first.
Microwave Oven Housing & Cavity Frame
Microwave oven outer housing and cavity frame: 0.5–0.8 mm steel with a coating that passes the door-seal rub test, precise door hinge and latch mounts, and an inner frame that keeps the cavity square so the door seal does not leak at the corners.

Home appliance sheet metal: cost discipline at consumer scale
Range hoods, washing machine parts, refrigerator panels and air-conditioner outdoor units are produced in volumes where a fraction of a centimetre of steel per part is a real cost line. The design work is about achieving the required stiffness, appearance and corrosion performance with the least material and the fewest operations.
Appearance still matters — a refrigerator door is a consumer product surface — but the appearance standard is usually defined by the customer’s own cosmetic zone system, which we build into the inspection plan.
- Typical appliance parts we manufacture
- Range hood housings and chimney covers
- Washing machine drums, counterweights and panels
- Refrigerator and freezer panels and brackets
- Air-conditioner outdoor unit frames and covers
- Dishwasher and oven internal supports
- Nesting and material utilisation drive the price
- At appliance volumes, sheet utilisation is a bigger cost lever than labour. Part outlines that nest well, a shared width across product variants, and a gauge that matches a common coil reduce cost without changing performance. We feed this back during quoting because it often changes the design for the better.
- Formability limits the finish choices
- Deep-drawn and heavily formed appliance parts need alloys with the elongation to take the shape — 5052 for aluminium, drawing-quality steel for deep forms. Choosing a finish that must survive forming (rather than being applied after) narrows the options further, so the sequence is agreed early.
- Noise and vibration are panel stiffness issues
- Washer drums and outdoor unit covers can radiate noise. Damping patches, rib patterns and panel spans are the levers, and they are much cheaper to design in than to patch after a noise test.
- Material and finish choices for appliance parts
- SPCC and drawing-quality steel 0.5–2.0 mm, pre-painted (coil-coated) steel where the finish is applied before forming, SGCC for parts exposed to moisture, and stainless for washing-machine drums and kitchen-adjacent parts. Powder coat and coil coating are the common finish systems; stainless is brushed or left mill finish depending on the brand language.
- Quality records appliance buyers ask for
- Dimensional reports, material and coating certificates, cosmetic-zone inspection standards, corrosion test expectations for wet areas, and RoHS/REACH declarations. Volumes are high and schedules are tight, so capacity planning and consistent quality across many shipments matter as much as any single inspection report.
What we make, not just who for
Enclosures, cabinets, chassis, brackets, panels and frames — with the design constraints each one comes with.
